Stephan Hürlemann developed a faucet range, which liberates architects from compromise. With its pure and gentle formal language, Alterna Architect blends into every architectural context. At the same time, its precise geometry characterises all its various applications – from free standing one hole tap to bath mixer to wall mounted faucet.

“The challenge was to find the right balance between emphasising the product character and practice formal restraint, and, in doing so, accomplish all the specific technical and water-induced conditions of every possible execution“, says Stephan Hürlemann.

The design rests on basic geometrical shapes. Outlet and handle taper off towards the front, thereby adding elegance to the clean design. The outlet of the wall mounted faucet is slightly turned towards the front and reproduces the angle of the discharging water jet.
