The «Bison» design is defined by its construction: Individual boards made of solid wood are slotted into each other in such a way that they reinforce one another and are held together by the weight of the table top. The direction of the grain is chosen for each board depending on the load it bears. Stephan Hürlemann has designed this bar table for meetings and coffee breaks for the Kellerhals Carrard office extension at Zurich Bellevue.
