In 2016 horgenglarus’ stand at the Cologne fair is – at 100 m2 - significantly larger than in previous years. With his design, Stephan Hürlemann moves the light source away from the ceiling to four light walls. These are arranged in such a manner spatially that an open, architectural sculpture is created. Products are presented on a perfectly illuminated white surface in front of the light walls. The diffused light generates an intimate mood. In turns the stand is dimmed and becomes subtly brighter, giving the impression that the space might be gently breathing. The material concept combines untreated wooden panels with precise light surfaces and a razor-sharp logo. Playful elements such as creatures made from elements of wooden chair production or glowing lightbulbs at the bar bring additional life into the space.
