The company Bauwerk Parquet exhibits at Designers’ Saturday 2012 with the installation ‘Purzelhäuser’ (Toy Houses). It looks as though three small buildings have been thrown like dice into a warehouse; two lie on their sides, one on its roof. Inside each are white spaces, which allow an unusual perspective of the parquet floors, for these have come to rest on the wall or overhead. In each a light-fitted chair is fixed to the parquet, its glow illuminating the Bauwerk product. Monitors inside and outside the toy houses illustrate the upside-down perspectives.
