In 2017 Hürlemann developed a new exhibition stand and POS concept for Sky-Frame. This was first revealed to the public at the 2018 Swissbau fair in Basel. For his most recent design for the successful Frauenfeld company, Stephan Hürlemann and his team placed the emphasis on the high quality of their products and deliberately refrained from presenting the frameless windows in a fake architectural setting. Hürlemann showed the windows in the way they are constructed in the Frauenfeld production hall: in untreated wood auxiliary structures. This radical view of the products allows ample space for stylistic interpretation. We create an artificial context that emphasises the windows’ sophistication by exhibiting them like sculptural objects in a gallery-like space with white walls and a poured concrete floor. Framed photographs of several reference projects hang on the wall – in the neutral space the architectural statements are particularly striking. With some classic pieces of furniture and a postcard stand designed by Stephan Hürlemann, Sky-Frame’s presentation is complete. These objects also reflect that Sky-Frame is synonymous with quality and sophisticated design.
