Because Stephan Hürlemann missed a soundproof box on the market that is visually unintrusive and at the same time activates the outside space, he worked with Erich Keller to develop a multifunctional room-in-room product family. Talky is available in two sizes (S and M) and serves as a single office, phonebooth or meeting pod, as required. Both the interior of the box and its exterior can be equipped with interchangeable elements such as plant trays, shelves, whiteboards and pinboards, tabletops and coat hooks.

Thanks to its clear design language and different colour options the box blends into any architectural context. Stephan Hürlemann also put much thought into the design of its interior. "I designed the micro-architecture like a product. In small spaces the right proportions are of particular importance, but the surface feel, the lighting, the acoustics and the smell of the box also inform its perception," says Hürlemann. In addition to a powerful but quiet ventilation, the use of sustainable materials further contributes to the comfortable environment in the WELL-compliant box. Talky's construction allows for individual parts to be repaired or replaced.

Talky complements Stephan Hürlemann's Dancing Office product family and, as a flexible space, enhances the dynamic work environment. Talky S can be moved around easily using a pallet truck thanks to its compatible floor design.
