This installation at Designers’ Saturday 2010 speaks to all the senses. A five and a half metre tall parquet construction is reminiscent of a small city. In its highest tower the exhibition visitors discover a space smelling of wood, the walls of which are made from thousands of small pieces of parquet piled on top of each other. On the roof, a ventilator made in oak parquet turns bullroarer instruments that create a primeval sound.
